With a series of “smart” switches in the lighting points of the building, the energy management platform can easily be transformed, beyond a tool for recording energy consumption, into a control system for the electric lighting of a building.
This offers the administrator, the possibility, either to intervene remotely and end unwanted consumptions (forgotten lighting), or to schedule the operation, so as to ensure that after the end of the Service, there will be no forgotten electricity consumption.
The savings that can be achieved amount to over 20% of the total consumption, with multiple benefits for both the Municipality and the environment.
The applied system will function as a management system of the Organization, for the control and understanding of electricity consumption, at the various points of interest, with the ultimate goal of rational use of energy and the reduction of both costs and the carbon footprint.
The application can be an integrated environment (“ecosystem”), “intelligent” management of the Municipality’s energy infrastructure, with a wide range of options for parameterization, scalability and interoperability.
The platform allows scalability, as requirements increase, so that it covers even the most demanding implementations, whether installed in the Cloud or in the client’s Computing Center.
